Harreef Privacy Policy

Harreef is a football training app for players aged 6 to 18. Players under 16 use it through their parent's account and with their parent's consent.

Data the app records

• First name, birth year, sex and position.
• A profile photo, if the player or parent chooses to upload one (shown on the player card and profile).
• Training and match days, and daily times (school, sleep, meals) you enter for reminders.
• Drills done, their length and effort rating, and answers to lessons and missions.
• Skill and speed test results and the ratings calculated from them.
• Heart rate during a session, if the player connects a heart-rate band.
• The app language you chose (Arabic or English), stored on the phone only.
• With an account: the email address, and the parent's email if linked.

Where it is stored

• Without an account: everything stays on the phone and no data leaves it.
• With an account: a copy of the player's data (including the photo) is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore) in data centres in Europe, so it can be opened on another phone and seen by the parent.
• Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication, with email and password or a Google account. We never see the password.
• Subscriptions go through Google Play. We never see card or payment details.

Who can see it

• Only the account owner.
• A parent whose email is linked to the player's account (after confirming it) can see the card and training.
• No one else. We do not sell or share any data.

The card for other players (coming soon)

The players' card gallery and team of the month are not live yet. When they launch:

• The card is hidden by default and only shown if the parent turns it on from the parent page; they can turn it off at any time.
• Only the first name, last initial, position and ratings show. The photo is never shown. No birth year, club, schedule or other details.
• There are no messages, comments or any contact between players.

Private coach

• Bookings are made from the parent's account only, with the parent PIN.
• The coach sees only the player's first name, age, position and the session time and type. Never a phone number or email, and there are no messages between coach and child.
• Payment is a transfer to Harreef by InstaPay or Vodafone Cash. We keep the payment method and the transaction number the parent enters, to confirm the transfer. We never see or store bank or card details.
• The coach writes a note and homework after the session, and the parent rates it. Reports about a coach reach Harreef's team only; the coach is not told who reported.
• Coach data: name, mobile, email, and photos of the ID card, licence, criminal record and a profile photo. Only the coach and Harreef's review team see these; they are stored on Google Firebase in Europe. Parents see the first and second name, profile photo, licence, pitch, price and rating.

What the app does not do

• No ads.
• No tracking or analytics tools.
• No location collection.

Permissions

• Notifications and exact alarms: to remind the player of training and match times on time.
• Bluetooth: only to read heart rate from the band during a session.
• Photos: only when you pick a card photo yourself. The photo is resized before it is saved.

Deleting the account and data

• In the app: More → My profile and account → Delete the account. This deletes the account and all its players' data from the server immediately. For a coach account, it also deletes the coach profile and the ID, licence and criminal-record photos.
• Records of paid sessions (player first name and age, session time and price) are kept for accounting and the coach's payout, and are not shown to anyone else.
• Outside the app: send a request from the account deletion page and we will delete it within 30 days.
• Data on the phone is erased from: Plan → Parent → Start over, or by uninstalling the app.

Children

The app is for young players, including children under 13. For players under 16 the account is created in the parent's name with their explicit consent in the app, and the parent can delete the data at any time. We collect the least data possible, only what training needs.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell users in the app.
